  This funeral home sold my mother-in-law a Edwards Burial Association Burial Policy back in 1949. It's face value was $500 for her and $500 for her young son. She has paid on this policy for 68 years. She died 2 months ago, so we requested the benefit of $500 be sent to us, as we had her buried in Rose Hills, CA for over $12,000. Well you can imagine our surprise when we received a check for $350. When I called they said they couldn't send more than 70% if out of their territory. I called the State of Arkansas and found that not to be true. No Laws, No Statues. It is their option to only pay up to 70%, but there was nothing to stop them from paying the entire amount.
  
  Do not purchase a burial policy from these people, put your money into a savings account and you will have 6 times more than this policy will pay when you die!
